Get educated on the marketing terms

I would like to share some terms for people who are just beginning their online business. If I leave anything out please comment below and I will add it in.

Before I do, I would like to say if you are new to marketing, welcome. This is a business just about anyone can do and all it takes is motivation and your time. 

Advertising network-websites are controlled by an advertiser.

Algorithm-Your natural ranking in a search engine

Alt tags-tags used to describe a website graphics

Analytic- data gathered about a website- performance clicks-visitors

Anchor texts-words highlighted on a webpage that you can click on

Blackhat SEO- by far a bad idea, this fools the search engines into ranking your sight higher than it is.

Click Through Rate(CTR)-tells you haw many times people are clicking on your ad. Low impressions can effect placement,and your ads placement.

Cloaking-hiding your affiliate link. There are several sights you can do this, It looks more professional  but I would be careful, sometimes you may find your sales being stolen.

Conversion Rate-tells you how many people are converting.

Cost per Acquisition-(CPA)-How much you are paying for a sale, or lead

Cost per Click-How much you are willing to spend on advertising

Cost per Impression-(CMA)-You pay a set cost per every 1,000 impressions your add gets
